Terry Soto is President and CEO of About Marketing Solutions, Inc., a Burbank, California-based management consulting firm which specializes in the U.S. Hispanic market. She is a well-respected voice among Fortune 500 and 1000 companies which she helps achieve the required strategies, organizational structure and cross-functional competencies to accelerate and sustain profitable Hispanic market growth.

Terry's cross industry consulting expertise spans companies like Wells Fargo Bank, Citibank, Coca Cola, Levy's, Kraft Foods, Walgreens, Dean Foods, Disney Consumer Products, Food Lion, Universal Studios Television, AutoZone, United States Postal Service, Ringling Bros., T-Mobile, Absolut Vodka and others.

Terry is author of Marketing to Hispanics: A Strategic Approach to Assessing and Planning Your Initiative which shares her consulting frameworks and processes for creating effective Hispanic business strategies. She also co-authored Grow with America: Best Practices in Ethnic Marketing and Merchandising, an actionable resource to the food retail trade and CPG industry.

Terry regularly guest lectures on Hispanic market strategy development at NYU and Pepperdine University, Business School where she earned her MBA. She is also a frequent speaker at corporate and industry conferences and is a sought after resource among trade publications.

Prior to founding About Marketing Solutions, Terry was Managing Partner / VP of Strategy and Client Services at cruz/kravetz:IDEAS, where she planned and implemented Hispanic Marketing Strategies for Harris Bank, MoneyGram, Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup Company, El Pollo Loco, Lincoln-Mercury, Mexicana Airlines, Pennzoil Motor Oil and others. Previously, Terry was at Chiat/Day Advertising where she was the first British-Trained Hispanic account planner supporting brand and regional strategy efforts for the Nissan Pathfinder and Truck models. She started her career in motion picture marketing research working for The National Research Group and later Lieberman Research Worldwide, and Research Resources, Inc., where she participated in the design of AC Nielsen's first Hispanic enumeration study to measure U.S. Hispanics' television viewing habits.

Terry serves as President of The National Society of Hispanic MBAs Los Angeles Chapter and alongside her Board and Corporate partners focuses on creating and offering professional and leadership development and career advancement opportunities to Hispanic MBA and undergraduate Hispanic members.

Terry is a native of Guayaquil, Ecuador and is completely bilingual and bicultural. Her passion is traveling and immersing herself in the diverse cultures found in the many countries she has visited over the years.
