About Terry Soto, President & CEO
Terry is President and CEO of About Marketing Solutions, Inc. (AMS), a Burbank, California-based market assessment and planning consulting firm which specializes in the U.S. Hispanic market. She is a well-respected voice in Hispanic market strategy consulting, working with Fortune 500 companies to improve their chances of Hispanic market entry and sustainable growth success.

Terry's consulting expertise spans a broad range of industries including companies such as Cigna HealthCare, CareAmerica, Bank of Oklahoma Financial Group, Wells Fargo Bank, Citibank, Coca Cola, Walgreens, Disney Consumer Products, Universal Studios Television, American Cancer Society, the United States Postal Service, Kraft Foods, Ringling Bros., BBVA Bancomer, Walgreens, T-Mobile, Absolute Vodka and others.

She is a frequent speaker at corporate functions and industry conferences, a key resource to trade publication, she regularly lectures on Hispanic Market Strategy at NYU and Pepperdine University and is a contributor to www.retailwire.com.

In March 2006, Kaplan Business Publishing published Terry's first book entitled, Marketing to Hispanics: A Strategic Approach to Assessing and Planning Your Initiative in which she shares her strategic approach to creating successful market strategies for corporate America. Her new book is already required reading in universities which offer multicultural coursework. In 2002, Terry was also the lead consultant and co-author of the breakthrough and well-publicized industry study entitled Grow with America - Best Practices in Ethnic Marketing and Merchandising.

Prior to founding About Marketing Solutions in 2001, Terry was Managing Partner at cruz/kravetz:IDEAS, a marketing services firm where for over eight years she consulted for clients such as Harris Bank, MoneyGram, Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup Company, El Pollo Loco, Lincoln-Mercury, Mexicana Airlines, Pennzoil Motor Oil and others.

Previously, Terry was at Chiat/Day Advertising where she became the first British-Trained Hispanic account planner in charge of brand strategy efforts for the Nissan Pathfinder and Truck models. She started her career in motion picture marketing research working for The National Research Group, Lieberman Research Worldwide, and Research Resources, Inc. where she participated in the design of AC Nielsen's first Hispanic enumeration study to start measuring U.S. Hispanics television viewing habits.

Terry is a native of Guayaquil, Ecuador and is completely bilingual and bicultural. She enjoys traveling and experiencing the diverse cultures found in the many countries she has visited over the years. Terry earned her MBA from Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management.
